Gallformers ID Notes

A short, flat-topped, green, integral leaf gall on Quercus marilandica. Similar to Polystepha globosa but on the upper side of the leaf, shorter in stature, and with a wider flat whitish cap. Showing a flat scar below similar to those of Polystepha pilulae or pustuloides. Observed in Texas in October.
