Gallformers ID Notes

A large, hairless, thick-walled, yellow-green, globular gall predominantly on the lower side of a leaf of Salix lasiandra, between the edge and midrib. Observed in Montana in July. Conforms to Smith's Type VI leaf gall in structure, but is not on the host group he lists for that type.
