The taxonomy and biology of Eutreta (Diptera: Tephritidae)

All rearing records of this species are of the second generation which produces galls in the top half of the plant stems. The overwintering galls are probably crown or root galls. Two galls on Bidens frondosa were found on the node of the plant.
