The taxonomy and biology of Eutreta (Diptera: Tephritidae)

Galls were found on the lateral branches of Artemisia cana at the nodes which produced the last years growth. The size of the branch beyond the gall was generally not affected by the gall development, although in two cases where unusually large galls formed, a branch did not develop beyond the galls.
