A tribal and generic revision of the Nearctic Lasiopteridi (Diptera: Cecidomyiidae)

The larva ... forms galls on Muhlenbergia. The gall, figured in Felt 1918: 225, is composed of imbricated leaves and the larvae lie singly or several together at the bases of the leaves forming the gall.
