Gallformers ID Notes

At least one, but potentially 2 or more, beetle species associated with linear galleries in older branches of Arctostaphylos manzanita, apparently causing bark splitting and profusion of tissue along the outside of the branches, especially dense at joints. Observed in California with larvae present in November.
