Gallformers ID Notes

Abrupt stem swellings on Brickellia californica. The galls are usually large, and often have stems or leaves protruding from them. The gall walls are thick and hard, with a single small cell located centrally. Adults were reared in April in New Mexico and determined to be an undescribed Procecidochares species.
