Found in El Dorado County, Calif. in July. A key difference between this and Rhopalomyia d-ledophylla-terminal-leafy-rosette, which occurs in Oregon on a host plant in the same genus, is that this had a single comparatively large larval chamber, instead of many tiny chambers.
