Dicrodiplosis gillettei Felt 1911l: 465. USA: Colorado, Fort Collins; T; G; USNM. An adult female Clinodiplosis sp. subsequently referred to this species (Felt 1918c: 158) is not the gallmaker, whose identity remains unknown. New status.

A large, budlike deformity on Pinus scopulorum was received... A species of Dicrodiplosis, D. gillettei, was reared from this gall and also another midge, probably a species of Contarinia, which latter is described above and is presumably the maker of the gall.
