Celticecis acuminata 

Celticecis acuminata was found at two study sites in Pennsylvania, one site in New Jersey, and one site in New York (Figure 1) representing three states with  newly  recorded  records  for  the  distribution  of  this  species. 

Celticecis celtiphyllia

In  this  study,  C. celtiphyllia was  found  at  three  of  the  study  sites  in  Pennsylvania and at the two New Jersey study sites (Figure  2),  expanding  the  northeastern  range  and  representing two new state records for this species.

Celticecis cornuata

C cornuata was found on veins on upper leaf surface in this study instead of lower leaf surfaces as described in Gagne and Moser (2013). 

In this study, C. cornuata was found at two study sites in Pennsylvania, the two study sites in New Jersey, and at one of the New York study sites (Figure 3).  This study expands the range of C. cornuata into  Pennsylvania,  New  York,  and  New  Jersey, representing three new state records for this species. The existence of C. cornuata in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York represents a major expansion of  the  northeastern  range  of  this  species.  It  is  quite  likely  that,  with  sampling  at  additional  study  sites,  C. cornuata would be found in additional states that are  between  Kentucky,  and  the  states  that  were  the  subject of this study.

Celticecis expulsa

Celticecis  expulsa  was  found  at  two  study  sites  in  Pennsylvania  (Figure  4).  This  study  expands  the range of C. expulsa into Pennsylvania, representing a new state record for this species. A limited number  of  old,  woody  galls  that  looked  like  those  of C.  expulsa  were  found  at  the  Phillipsburg  study  site in New Jersey during this study, suggesting that C.  expulsa  can  also  be  found  in  New  Jersey.  Since  actively growing galls with larvae were not found, confirmation  of  the  expansion  of  the  range  of C. expulsa into New Jersey was not be obtained

Celticecis globosa

In  this  study,  C.  globosa was found at all four study sites in Pennsylvania, the  two  study  sites  in  New  Jersey,  the  two  New  York  study  sites,  and  in  New  London,  Connecticut  (Figure  5). These  findings  represent  new  state records for Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut and represent the first record of this species in a New England state.

Celticecis ovata

In  this  study,  galls  of  C.  ovata  were  found at all four study sites in Pennsylvania, the two study  sites  in  New  Jersey,  and  the  two  study  sites  in New York (Figure 6) representing three new state records for the distribution of this species. 

Celticecis oviformis

Celticecis  oviformis  was found at three study sites in Pennsylvania and one site  in  New  Jersey  (Figure  7).  This  study  expands  the range of C. oviformis into Pennsylvania and New Jersey,  representing  two  new  state  records  for  this  species.

Celticecis pyriformis

In  this  study, C.  pyriformis  was  found  at  three  study  sites  in  Pennsylvania,  and  the  two  study  sites  in  New Jersey  (Figure  8)  representing  two  newly  recorded  state  records  for  the  distribution  of  this  species.

Celticecis spiniformis

In  this  study,  C.  spiniformis  was  found  at  all  four  study sites in Pennsylvania, at the two New Jersey study  sites,  and  at  the  two  study  sites  in  New  York  (Figure  9).  This  study  expands  the  range  of  C. spiniformis into New Jersey, representing a new state record for this species. 

Celticecis supina

In  this  study,  C.  supina  was  found  at all four study sites in Pennsylvania and the two study  sites  in  New  Jersey  (Figure  10)  representing  newly  recorded  state  records  for  the  distribution  of  this  species.
