Unknown t-pubescens-leaf-blister

A cockscomb-type of a gall on *Rhus toxicodendron* listed as producing Eriophyidae, produced Cecidomyidae. This shows that either a new gall was produced on the plant or that the original citation was an error.

[note: "*Rhus toxicodendron*" is currently a synonym of a southern plant, *Toxicodendron pubescens*. However, Maze made this collection in Pennsylvania, north of the native range of this species. It is possible that this name was meant to refer to some other *Toxicodendron* sp.]
