Callirhytis protobalanus, new species

Host. — Quercus cedrosensis Muller.
Gall. — Integral polythalamous acorn gall formed in cotyledon of the acorn 1.0 to 2.0cm wide, 1.2cm average. Emergence occurs through hull and sometimes through cap (Fig. 3).
