Small, ovate-globular galls along either side of the midrib on the lower side of leaves of Quercus havardii. Each gall is densely covered in short, tan-white hair, with a ring of black hair surrounding a bare hilum at the apex. Observed containing unemerged adult wasps in western Texas in December. A similar gall was observed on a Quercus ?obtusata leaf in Michoacan, Mexico in December.
