Gallformers ID Notes

Numerous small blister galls scattered around a leaf of Quercus gambelii, clustered principally but not exclusively on the midrib and lateral veins. These galls conform to Kinsey's species-level description of Neuroterus niger, but none of his varieties have been reported from this host. Observed in Utah in October.
