Revision of the Baccharis-Infesting (Asteraceae) Fruit Flies of the Genus Tephritis (Diptera: Tephritidae) in North America

Adults of T. palmeri have been reared from female flowers and terminal stem galls of B. neglecta from southcentral and southeastern Texas (Palmer [1987] and specimens examined). Three specimens collected on 25 April 1984 at Victoria, Tex., were reared from B. halimifolia.
