Gallformers ID Notes

A rough-surface, hairless, globular bullet gall on the stem of Quercus oglethorpensis. Similar to bullet galls observed on Quercus stellata and likely conspecific, but the ID and placement of that species has not yet been determined either. Observed in Georgia in April but likely fresh in the fall.
