Gallformers ID Notes

Numerous small, cylindrical to globular galls nearly identical to those of Neuroterus saltarius, on Quercus macrocarpa, but differing in being densely covered in short hairs and causing a flat, rather than protruding, yellow spot on the upper side of the leaf. Observed from late June to September from Ohio to Manitoba.
