The Eriophyid Mites of California

Type host: Artemisia heterophytla [Artemisia douglasiana] Nutt., wormwood
Relation to host: The mites cause erineum pockets on the undersides of the leaves. These pockets bulge out on the upper surface. The extra growth of hair mikes the pockets white below.
