Gallformers ID Notes

A typical Kinseyella leaf gall, large oak apples on the lower side of the leaf midrib, covered in orange hairs that rub off to reveal a tan surface when dry, with relatively thick, spongy walls and radiating fibers holding a central larval cell. Observed dry in Guatemala in April. Apparently on Quercus segoviensis.
