[The authors show two micrographs from sections of an Asphondylia cytisi gall from an apparently cultivated Cytisus hybrid (listed as "Cytisus praece" which does not appear in IPNI, but perhaps is a typographical error referring to the commonly cultivated Warminster Broom, Cytisus ×praecox Bean). The micrographs are almost unconnected to the text, with all information about them apparently restricted to the captions. Elsewhere they do report that all their samples came from either Kansas or Missouri. It is not clear whether this includes the broom galls.]
