Louis Nastasi, who is working on the taxonomy of N. American herb gall wasps saw the iNaturalist observation by Ocean Fleskes, made in Santa Clara County, California and worte: "Any chance you’d be able to keep your eye out for more of these and potentially collect some? These are probably a genus new to science but are at least a new species."
