New American Cynipid Wasps From Galls

Diplolepis lens, new species

Host.—Rosa nutkana

Gall.— A lentil-shaped thickening, up to 3.2 mm. in diameter by 1.7 mm. thick, in the parenchyma of the leaf in the fall. Single or several on a leaf. Similar to the gall of D. rosae Cockerell in the eastern United States.
