Cynipid Galls of the Pacific Slope

Quercus agrifolia, kelloggii, wislizeni
Stem galls, woody stem swellings or cells under bark
Fusiform, up to 20 mm in dia by 50 mm long. Fig 57. The inner structure lacks the tubes present in suttoni above.

Fig. 57 - Unknown. Q wislizeni, agrifolia, kelloggii. Internal structure is different from that of suttoni below. In the Santa Ana Mts. many live oaks had been damaged and even killed by these galls.
