Thin-shelled, smooth, tan, hidden inside bud. Exit hole thru scales. Fig 192.

Fig 192. Unknown. Bud gall entirely hidden inside bud of Q. agrifolia, wislizeni and kelloggii. No indication of its presence until exit hole thru the bud scales is seen. Maker emerged before May 20 (Baird).
