Cynipid Galls of the Pacific Slope

Fig 195. Unknown. Blisters on the inner face of the inner bud scales which persist after the outer bud scales have dropped off and left an annual ring of scars. Galle empty at base of new growth on Aug. 2 on Q, kelloggii. Seen only once at Milford, Calif. On same tree were hundreds of galls of Dryocosmus grumatus Weld.
