Callirhytis perobscura, new species

Host: Quercus velutina Lam.

Gall: Unknown.

Habitat: The types were taken ovipositing in buds at East Falls Church, Va., on Apr. 18 and 20, 1927, Apr. 22, 1930, Apr. 23, 1932, Apr. 23, 1947, and at Takoma Park, Md., on Apr. 13, 1925.
