Andricus tubularius, new species

Host. — Quercus undulata.

Gall (fig. 22). — Smooth, tan-colored, blunt, cylindrical cells bursting out through the bark singly or in vertical rows of 2-6, only the upper third or less protruding, not deciduous. Single cells measure 3.2 mm. long by 1.7 mm. in diameter with Avail .1-.2 mm. thick.
Occur in early summer on small twigs of previous season's growth. Exit hole at apex and old galls show as a row of holes.
