The gall's range is computed from the range of all hosts that the gall occurs on. In some cases we have evidence that the gall does not occur across the full range of the hosts and we will remove these places from the range. Conical, greenish becoming brown when mature, 3-4 mm high, from weak dormant buds on limbs or from adventitious buds on trunk of large trees of Q alba in Sept and Oct. Deciduous. Adults emerge the second spring, transforming the fall before.
